I didn’t get my run in yesterday morning due to…laziness, I guess. I just didn’t feel like going out in the dark (have I mentioned how much the time change sucks?) and running at 6:45. I figured I’d just treat it as my day off. By time I got home from work, I had been bit by the running bug. I decided that a quick 30 minutes wouldn’t kill me. Boy am I glad I decided to run!
My legs started off feeling like led, and I wanted to go back home but I figured I’d keep going since it was only going to be 30 minutes. After about 10 minutes everything loosened up and I was flying. I ran 3 and some change (.1ish) in 29:32. Last mile was almost in the 8’s! Outside of the 2 races I’ve done, these are the fastest times I’ve seen since my illness. Maybe things are getting back to normal. I just need to be patient.
Whatever the case, did I mention yay?
