I hate the gym. Period. There’s no getting aroundd that. There’s just something miserable about getting in a car to drive to sit on a stationery bike, treadmill, or elliptical machine. However, I only have 6 weeks before I start half marathon training, and I need to go into that with some sort of fitness. Plus, I have gained a couple of pounds from not running. So, to the gym I must go. I tried to do the elliptical, but within 5 minutes my knee was starting to feel a bit irritated. I then hopped on the stationery bike which is pretty much like torture. Wow. I felt like I was on there forever. Tomorrow I’m going to try to swim some laps. The pool was completely empty this morning. That’s good because I don’t swim laps to well. I’ve found a couple of workouts. Hopefully, they’ll keep me in shape until I can run again.
* Note-I’m using a free guest pass. Since I’m super broke. If I like the swimming, maybe I’ll join.
