My WaMu account is now officially Chase. I’ve been trying to update it for the past couple of days in Quicken. I finally sat down and read through the instructions on the site. It took me over 2 hours, but things seemed to be going ok. Except….it downloaded 200 duplicate transactions. My account is a total mess. I finally had to just accept it and do a large balance adjustment. Things seem ok, but I’m not quite sure. Now I’m terrified to pay anything because I don’t want to bounce stuff. Tomorrow, I’m calling Chase to give them a HUGE piece of my mind. I don’t understand why this transition is so hard. If I bounce anything, I’m going to be pissed and will refuse to pay any overdraft fees.
